People have asked this question but I don't see any replies to it. I would like to attend the event but my car is stock. Is the registration just for entry and parking or is it for car show-off?

 

Well the reason you may of been missed is that the main person in charge of this event is swamped with a ton of clubs and can't cover all the forums he is posting on. The rest of us are just speaking on his behalf.

Let me make this perfectly clear This event is primarily a meet and secondarily a car show.

This event is for all Lexus owners, stock or modded ALL are welcome. Owners with stock or lightly modded cars have ALWAYS been encouraged to attend LGW sponsored events. Those of us with modded cars are there to give you all advice and information. This is the LGW way of doing things. The awards are just an added feature of this event, for those who wish to participate in a friendly competition. Actually this is the first event in the 6 year history of LGWNorCal that will be giving out any type of awards.

The registration fee covers the Tee shirt, raffle items and discount coupons that will be available to all who pre-register. Plus it grants you entry to the reserved meet parking area that is free for spectators to walk in, but fenced off so that non-registered cars will need to park outside.

Honestly the money spent registering for this meet, will be worth more in return in the value of the tee shirt and the discount coupons alone. This is not even including the possibility to win a raffle item.

I know there are people out there that are not showing up because they feel their cars aren't "done" yet, but that's counterproductive because you need to ask us veterans about our mods BEFORE you do it. You will make a much better informed decision and possibly save money, time and grief.

We all had to start out stock at one time. I've been modding my car for 6+ years, so of course I'm pretty far along. There is almost nothing I can't answer about Lexus, and if I don't know the answer I probably know someone in our group who does.


C'mon out and meet up with us veteran members, we're all open to meeting and helping out the new members.

I think you are correct. I am giving away 300$ in raffle items and a 30% coupon If items are bought at the meet and another coupon for the month of July.
