In my trips to Japan I always enjoy visiting traditional stores making tools/devices for daily use. Kitchen tools, janitorial equipments, furniture stores, pottery shops… any hand-made and old-school thing made by professional people who have the heart to preserve their finest standard in their products. I appreciate seeing their perfectionism of making tools that will last for generations and giving out services on their products even at deteriorated condition.
Some example I pull out from internet:
Veggie graters in one hundred dollar range:

And the OMG car duster near $400 range

Are these products better? I saw demonstrations in person so I keep my belief on my side and I leave your opinion to you.
Edit:
That JDM duster in Autobac is so far the best one I have seen in us. I did not get it cuz I thought I could bring one back from JP, but I found out Japs have those heavenly ones that I can't afford it. I regret I did not get the one from Autobac, and I regret more I did not bring back the heavenly one.
