Default Clearbra worries - is this normal after install?

Hi all, finally got my clear bra installed from a shop that was recomended here. Over all i was happy with the outcome. My worries is that right now there are some spots where it looks like liqiud or solvent from the install proceedure still trapped. The shop said this is normal and would evaporate after afew days under the sun. Is this true, anyone experienced this after the bra install? I looks like tiny little bubbles trapped. I tried to take a picture but does not show well, oh by the way my car is black so you can see up close. I will not be as happy if this does not go away, so did I just drop a good amount of change for a bad install?

Yes it is normal, I had it on my car and it will evaporate. Just leave the car in the sun for awhile.

It's normal for water and such to still be trapped under the clear bra. If you let the car sit in the sun for a few days and it still doesn't go away then you should take it back and have them fix it.

TMAG,
There are procedures to maintain the clearbra and also procedures to repair the clearbra when damaged. If you are going to Premier's open house on the 27th, I can teach you some so you don't have to worry that much.

Yea dude having black is a pain in the butt and it's the true test of any detailer. For us enthusiasts that always want to keep our cars clean its such a hassle. Proper clear bra installation is very important on a black car because any flaw pops on black. Like everyone has already said it should go away. If you need any tips on detailing your black car let me know.

Yea repaint it white or silver will help mask things.

The best thing to do is to try not to do anything that will increase swirls on the car. So when you wash the care you should be very careful. I use a two bucket technic where I have one bucket with clean water and a second bucket to rinise my sheepskin mitt off after i've glidely it gently on the paint.

The best thing to keep your car up is to get a Porter Cable or the one Made by Meguiars (same unit just Meguiars branded). Makes polishing and waxing a lot easier. Like everything that goes into a car prep work is key.

I wrote up a small thread with a bunch of useful URLs for detailing.

If you guys have questions feel free to ask. I think one day we should have a NorCal detailing meet, now that would be interesting.

Hey Mad, since your from the south bay also, what do you do just leave your car dusty until you can was it or do you use a CA duster and quick detailer?

Never use a CA duster on black it just adds swirls. I would use a quick detailer and a nice microfiber towel. But this is just for light dusting. A good site that CL gets a discount from is pakshak.com They sell some great microfiber towels for cars. I use their towels to do my detailing. I wash it once a week and do light detail spray during the week to reduce dusting and bugs. Some days the car is just way too dirty so I just wait and wash it. A nice wax will help repel some of the dust and pollen. Let me know if you would like any other suggestions.
