I went on Saturday morning... my first time. I like how Lexus organizes the event. Food is decent and even the trailer restroom is very upscale. However, I would never go there to test drive a car… kinda joke. You wait 15 minutes or more for a drive of 30 seconds… better of just go to a dealer.

ENJOY THE PHOTOS !!

Once a CL official suggested me not to comment the IS-F until I see the car in person... Now I did, the car looks better in person but still not my cup of tea. The exaggerated body kid is too, well, exaggerated.

I just got home from the event, funny that you mention the wait as compared to the actual drive, haha!!
My wife and I felt the same way, what a tease....
I drove the LS600H is which is an amazing car, the LS460, GS350 and GS450H.
The IS-F looks much better in person, can't wait to drive it at the next taste of Lexus

Ha HA ! Was just talking to the people I went with on Sunday about how I knew someone was going to post pics of more stuff we have all already seen just because they went and took some pictures while they were there! Funny.

Yes that was awesome though! That Performance track was great in the IS350. I drove it four times and got it side ways twice on that U turn and hit some cones on that last sharp left the last time I ran it. The wait times were a joke. We didnt wait in any lines we just registered for a drive and then went right up to the door, got our little card thing and they let us go everytime. Never once did they make us wait for our scheduled time and we did about 10-12 drives each for the four of us.

Def the IS-F looks a lot better in person, and the LS period (especially the 600h) is officially a 7 series killer!

1. Food was not that bad (last year you got unlimited food....)
2. I like the cafe idea
3. The layout was "crampy" this year. Not enough tables/chairs to enjoy the food
4. I like the "advance" scheduling idea
5. Much less stuff to check out vs last year
6. Donation to help the environment is much better than useless gifts
7. No LX470?

am I blind? how did I miss the ISF on sunday? did they hide it somewhere?

I didn't like the reservation system. It's not like there's much to do while they make you wait 45 minutes to an hour for your time slot. I'd rather just wait in line than wait around doing nothing...

Plus, if you go with a companion and both of you want to drive, you can't stagger your signup so that you get on the list for both cars. You wait 45 minutes for your GS450h drive, then another hour for your LS600h, when the whole thing probably could be matched much faster....

Damn, I didn't go there. I just test drove the 450h and 600hl and left because I didn't want to wait an hour per car for a 30 second drive.

I thought they left the car in LA...
