Default Red tailight tape/film

Hey guys,

I was wondering do you have an extra spare sheet of red tape or film for the tailights? I tried painting mines last night and it turned out horrible. I think the red film will do much better.

Anyone want to be a very nice CL member and hook me up with some?

Thanks a bunch.

Are you able to get the paint out without damaging the finishing?

I remember I see it some where in my tool box at home. I will check it for you.

I took it out very quickly. I looked at it and it didn't seem to be a good match so I used my weedwackers gasoline can and soaked it up with some dirty rag and wiped it down. Everything is all good now, just itching to put some red on the amber part of the car.

josephdoc, thanks for the lookout.

Did you sand down the tailights before painting it red?

Ah, I did not. I didn't really know which grit to use. Which grit do I use? Or can I use rubbing compound?
