I'm coming from Dublin. Seems like 90% of these mini meets are in Fremont, which is ironic considering Fremont cops are the worst in the Bay Area. Rosetti FTL!

It's really Rosetti that gives Fremont a bad name. Meeting at a restaurant where we are paying customers is a lot better than meeting in a mall lot where it appears we are there to loiter, make noise with our engines or audio and generally annoy paying customers with our presence.

Also for the NorCal ORGANIZED mini meets we usually have "BUY IN" from the place of business, who can vouch for our presense should cops show up. Example: Kayenyama and Premier Pizza we know the owners.

Fremont to the South Bay is historically where most of the Active Members live. If you try to do this meet in SF, Northbay or SAC area, there is very little participation and HIGH flake ratio.

It sucks for those who don't live in this area, but frankly it's hard to justify anyone organizing a meet elsewhere when it's unlikely very many will show.

Dude ! Back when you lived in SF, we've probably had 20+ mini-meets since you joined CL and it appears you never attended a "CL mini-meet" .


We had a 50+ Lexus ONLY meet near Elk Grove a long while ago, but about 45cars drove 2+ hours to meet there and only 5 locals showed up. I can think of 2 members from the Elk Grove vicinity that still go to our South Bay Meets, but they don't attended the SAC Friday meets.

Needless to say if you want to meet up and get to know the most active, and veteran members on this Forum, most of the time you'll need to come to the Bay Area and usually the South Bay where all the Hard Core people attend.

I was actually at the BOS meet and went to the meet when 1320 performance had the grand opening. Also, I just moved to Elk Grove about a month ago. I attend the weekly Friday meets but lately some of the members flake so it's usually me and bojzs147 that meets and I meet up with some Supra drivers. haha since BOS I have switched up cars. I don't drive the two tone with aristo front end anymore.

Yeah I think BOS was the only NorCal "Certified meet" you attended. The 1320 and these other meets are not hosted by ClubLexus members , they're just random meets posted by people spamming all the forums, with no guarantee if any Lexus will show. BOS was a good meet to go but that's not a CL mini-meet , so there are too many people and we all know each other from the mini meets we attend, so a new person kinda get's lost in the crowd.

We've got a kewl group of friendly people and the community is very tight. Many of us know each other for 2 to 5 years. Come on down to a "CL" mini-meet next time you're in the hood. Or attend the Certified "CVG" meet that is near you in 2 weeks. If you work weekends, take a vacation cuz that's when meets happen.

Everyone is invited, but it's hard to say if there will be an activity when you are in town. Keep checking this thread or look at the Meet and Events Sticky for other scheduled activities.

You can post when you'll be in town and perhaps some members can schedule something.
