salvage is when the damage to the car is worth more than the car. And i am sure that the damage done is not worth as much as your car. This is nothing close to salvage.

It depends on the severity and what needs to be repaired or replaced. As I do this for a living (insurance adjusting), just by looking at your pics, your car is far from being a salvage or total loss.

Well prelim estimates came back. i didnt notice this but quarterpanel driver side needs to be repaired. door gap on passenger driver rear has became minimal, the whole panel got pushed in. under carpeted trunk, it was pushed in. wowee.. o well at least its driveable.

All cars have crumple zones which help absorb the energy of the impact and lessen the severity of injury to those in the cabin. Your IS did it's job of protecting you. It looks ugly, but it's definitely repairable.

car will be dropped off at EMC Collisions or what not soemtime next week.
i was told after two estimates will take at leats 3 weeks for completion. i will check out Glen's refer tomorow.

just wnat to say, like Teeman, i will be bringing gifts for all as well. they are also... not made in united states, so its foreign its got _____ written all over it... cant even read it... but ull definately put it to good use.

nothing big, but at least you guys will leave tomrow with at least 3 gifts*


again... schedule is as follows.

Dave and Buster - Milpitas Great Mall Parking structure, 2nd floor.
meet: 7-7:30 gathering time
by 7:30ish, we will head over to DnB. seat ourselves, etc..
some people will be gettting off work so wait til around 8 until ordering food.
eat...
by 930ish or somewhat after food we will start white elephant exchange.
after white elephant, Teeman will present his goodies, followed by myself.
we will be done at DnB before 11. 11 Pm is cut off time for individuals under 21, which we have some, but those who plan to go home to family may do so, those who want to stay my do so, otherwise, we will head over to Milpitas Square area for the night activities. whether it is UNO, hide and go seek, or monopoly games, we will have tons of fun.

those that are not showing up tomorow due to other activies, theres always a next time.

I don't have anyone's contact info, so i hope who ever is going can relay the msg. I'm sorry but I don't think i can make it. I have to leave town and help out a buddy for a little bit and am unsure if i can make it back in time. The doofus got in an accident brake checking someone that was tailing his ***. Sorry for any inconvience this may cause. Shoot .. I got a gift too for the white elephant event. I was really hoping the IS's could finally overtake the SC's too. lol
