Default Car won't start -- Anyone in Sac (by Fulton/Howe) area that can help?

I posted in the LS forum, but I thought someone in Sac by Fulton/Howe area could come by and help me out. I'm having trouble with my car:

I left my car parked overnight and it could not start the next day. First the power door locks didn't work, so I knew something was wrong. I had the battery changed about 2-3 months ago. I attempted to charge the battery a few times and tried to jump it earlier today. The car still doesn't even power up or crank. The lights don't come on, nothing runs. I can't get it started to get it out of the underground parking area I'm in. I've parked the car longer than this before with no problems.

Any ideas what this could be? Is there something draining the battery?

Also, I had my deck worked on on Friday and it had to be reconnected so maybe something is draining it from there?

Thanks.

if its the alternator is bad the car would still start up with a jump. you sure you didnt cross the wires when you first tried to jump it and blew a fuse? (happened to a friend of mine once) too bad sacs a long way away or I would come and help.

Finally got it jump started and got the battery tested. Test resulted in a good battery. I drove it home now and everything is ok so far. We'll see after it sits over night.

Cleaned off some corrosion on the negative side the other day. After I had it tested, had some stuff sprayed on it to help prevent the buildup. I started it after about 4-5 hrs of sitting and everything was fine.

I started the car today and everything works fine. I'll be leaving in a couple hrs, so I'll see again soon. I just passed 81K recently.

Car starts fine and everything works for a couple of weeks, then the car is dead after. Once I get it jumpstarted, everything is fine again...can anyone help me take a look at this? I'm in Sac but go back to the bay pretty often.

Bad battery maybe (who checked it?) , or you have something draining the battery (a light turning on)..prob a loose wire somewhere. Most likely will be the battery. But you say you had ur deck worked on when all this started happening...maybe they messed up the wiring, and if a they did, there could be a small load put on the battery (same as when u leave the dome light on)

I had my mechanic check the battery, he said it was fine and the alternator was charging fine. so, like you said, something else is draining it. i wanna figure out what it is so i dont have to keep jumpstarting the car almost every 2 weeks.

did you get an amp installed? and did you connect it directly to the battery? or maybe the deck is constantly drawing power?

An amp was installed a little while back the same day the the deck was installed. It's possible that the deck may be drawing power...just need some help figuring out where it's coming from. I'm trying to contact the person that installed everything, but it's in the bay and I won't be out there until maybe next week.
