Default Help a fellow CL member: Wheels needed IS350

hey whats up guys,

i got in a car accident and bent the wheels on my IS350. I ordered some wheels from WORK but its ganna take about 8 weeks. car is still in shop getting repaired but once its done, the WORK wheels will not be here.

Just curious if any of you IS350 owners that upgraded your wheels would loan me your factory wheels for like a month. Ill pay in advance for the duration of the time i use the wheels.

i do not want to buy another set of stock wheels then having to sell them once i get my Works from japan.

I do not need the wheels asap, once the car is repaired from the shop, ill be driving for like a few weeks then returning your wheels back to you.

if anyone is willing to help, either post here or PM me, thanks for your time

I live in san jose by the way so local would be best.

james

James,
What kind of "rental fees" are you talking about here buddy? I have a set of spyder wheels that are in the basement. We just recently got Work wheels
for the wifies IS350. I live up north from you, in San Bruno. But I work in Los Gatos. Btw, which Work wheels did you get?
Here are some pics.

Spyder Wheels.

Recently acquired Work Varianza F2S.

Sorry to hear about your accident.

We can continue this on PM when your ready to do this or if you want to iron out the details.

TTYL,

-Will

well depending on how much you wanna loan them out for.

i got work vs-xx and the offsets are the most aggressive on club lexus. fully custom with a disc fronts and o disc rears. i wish i coulda went with R disc front to get optimal lip but it wouldnt clear bbk.

PM with what you have in mind for loaning the rims.

Well if his BBK is not any bigger than the brakes on the IS350, the spiders should work. Btw, I'm still waiting for a response to the PM I sent you James.

hey will, im just lookin at my options right now.

I do not have a BBK kit installed at the moment but i got the R disc in the front just in case i do get BBK installed.

I'm lookin for any stock IS250/350 wheels. 18's would be perfect till i get my WORKs in.

Hey James,
Its good to plan ahead. You never know if a good deal on a set of BBKs may come your way.

And the verdict is.................................................................................

10 days to go before exactly a month has gone by from date of first post.
