No money is being involved in this transaction so Johnjohn cant lose. Plus if Baoser has met him then he must be a pretty trustworthy guy.

Just wondering if anyone has returned their coilovers to Teins for servicing? Since I have a useless set because of the one rear strut having a crack, I was thinking of just returning it and having the casing replaced. Will Tein just sell one piece of a coilover set?

Contact Tein. They do recondition the units, for a fee of course. This is actually a good time to do it since you have not installed them yet.

Good luck.

Reconditioning is out of the question. I was told by Tein USA the old generation CS which I have, has to be shipped to Japan for reconditioning/repair. With the cost, I'm better off buying new. Problem is, no one seems to stock either the CST or FLEX for the JZS147. They are on back order and the earliest ETA is February. And we know how back orders usually work, February could be March, etc... Any of you Norcal folks know of a shop that stocks them? Thanks.
