Lexus of Stevens Creek body shop issues
Let me just say - I love the service of Lexus of Stevens Creek. I've been a customer for over 7 years. But a major problem I have is with where they send the cars for body repair. Which is AutoWest Collision in San Jose. Besides the fact I have had everything in my trunk stolen when they were fixing my car -I've heard many other bad things about them ( including on this forum ).
Two weeks ago I had a scratch on my car and they did an estimate on it. They quoted $2,200. All other estimates that I got were in a range from $600 to $700. I fixed it for $650.
I have complained about them to the dealership and told them that they're going to screw up their reputation. I encourage everyone to do the same.

SimpleCarz in Mountain View. Tron's Auto Body shop in San Jose quoted me $700. SimpleCarz also hooked me up with a heavy discount on a rental car.
$300 of different stuff. They did admit and re-imberce it to me but this is not what I expect when I turn the car in to the Lexus dealership.

So how was the paint work from Simplecarz? I've heard really good things about Creative Kustomz in San Jose, CA. I also recently used Superior Auto Body in San Carlos with OK results on repainting a bumper.

I'm pretty happy with it. Plus, getting me a good but cheap rental ( Honda Accord at $30/day ) definately helped. PM me if you want the contact info for the guy I delt with.
