Default San Francisco Mechanic Recommendation?

Hello,

Recently purchased a 1990 LS400 with 99k miles. This is my first Lexus and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a mechanic in San Francisco.

I did a search and saw recommendations for Exact Motorsports and Auto Innovations but they are out in Milpitas.

Thanks in advance.

I know :

1. A toyota mechanic who's in Burlingame (he now has his own shop)

and

2. Another shop in Pacifica....

Thanks for the response. Burlingame and Pacifica are too far for me at the moment.

The NorCal forums is going on 6 years old right now and I have not ever read of any significant recommendations of shops in the city.

I fully understand that shops like Exact are too far away, but I will say that I know of several members who live further than you who justify the travel to have them do work.

If Burlingame is too far for you I don't know what to say. I believe there are a few shops that local SF members use, but they probably haven't caught your post. You can try to PM LexAnt or SPortCoupe. They are not online all the time so a PM might work better.

Thanks for the leads RMMGS4.

Decided to take into SF Toyota to do the 90k maintenance service and see if they find anything major that needs to be done. I'll revisit the Burlingame option if they do.
