Lexus builds IS-F Track car

A thread of this car is posted in the IS-F section, but these are nice new shots of the car.
The Aero bodywork and chassis looks like this car was set up to DTM spec racing rules.
Now the funny part is that form of racing is for "DTM" cars, namely Mercedes and Audi. They only two exclusive brands running that series.
Now either DTM will soon allow JDM cars to race in their series in the future, or this car is just an excercise by Lexus to build a "What If" race car to show the potential of the IS-F in motorsports?
Either way, from the rock chips on the body I see this car was test driven and probably driven hard.
On a side note, this car is giving me ideas on the potential of modding the IS-F if I pick one up for INDGOGRL.

oh, i didnt know.. thx for the heads up glen.
yeah, this car sure hints at the european DTM circuit... the overall design of the car looks just like the M3 or the CLK currently running in that series. i love how every item on the car is pure business. let's see how it does next year.
if you are referring to the dual double decker wing.. i got it on order for you already.

It definitely looks nice. But I don't want to get too excited until it really shows up in Super GT series (JGTC). Who knows, in 2006, Tom's SC430 won the GT500 series...
