Saving my ride~~
Hello my buds,
I just moved from San Jose to Milpitas, and now there is a big problem with the driveway at the new house. I am looking for a filler piece to save my cars. Anyone came across a solution for driveway ramp filler? I see an interesting piece on net but wish I can find other solution.. I guess the last thing I will do is stacking up some woods from home depot.. lol.
Here is what I found on net.

Please let me know and many thanks in advance.

You can always repave it. Request a permit from the city and after it's repaved a inspector will see the finished work. Those drive way fillers don't work because it gets stolen easily unless you take it out and put it back in which is a hassle.
If you need someone to repave your driveway my dad owns a construction company. It'll be pricey because of the drive from San Francisco. Doing it yourself shouldn't be too hard.

Joseph, this is the main reason I hastate to lower my car. I like cosmetic stuff like the body kit and it already cause the ingress and egress problem at my driveway, not to mention the more aggressive driveways everywhere you go. Adding the filler piece isn’t the best solution. It has the potential to block the road water drainage and for my community, the HOA will knock on my door with a warning. I tend to agree with igofast that the best way to do is to repave the driveway, but it involves getting permit and so on… not an easy fix.

Thanks guys!!
I think those fillers I found are legal without permit. It has drain channels can be bolted to the ground, and good enough to survive city's sweeper crew.
I am thinking about that permit from city now... This repaved bill adds to my modding list to the car. LOL! I am planning to stay at this new place for a few years only and I am not planning to redo the drive way if it cost too much.
Yeah, I know, now I suffer from my mod cars; cars that I don't drive at all.
Thx bros!

Air.. LOL... I am done with the show cars. Maybe on my next car if I can afford a 5-garage house and also win that jack-pot first.
My 2IS is actually a wife's car, and now she wants to have fun with all toy works done to the car but I am trying my best to keep the vehicle in the garage. Muhahaha! It took 4 guys, 1 hour, and some woods to lock up the car. Sunny season is around the corner and I am sure she wants it back.
Well.. I need to go to HomeDepot now to see some USDM options.

I got another idea, since you said you'll only stay in that house for a few years......
how about a temp. trade? My stock height should be no problem going up your drive way. LOL
But good luck... and can't wait to see it in person at the burger run!
