Kalvin,
pick up your grill from my house before I sell it on EBay

You can get the dremel from either justin or me.

PS - Why don't you just bake the tails instead of cutting them up?

Not sure about what's needed in this tail light clearing process as I don't have a GS, but I've baked my headlights before. It's a pretty simple job you just need to make sure you reseal the headlights well and use zip ties to secure them shut as the sealant dries.

Baking 98 - 2000 GS tails is Ok for clearing the amber. If you bake , then you are taking apart and assembling the lens like the factory did. Cutting with a dremel takes a steady hand and there will be scars from where you cut and sealing the lights will take more work as well. There are many posts on this, just do a search.

Now for 2001 - up GS tails , You CANNOT clear out the amber lens, so baking or dremel is useless.

Don't even try clearing 2001 - up tails, just break down and get Sonar or other Ebay tails.

Ask me how I know this.

Hey James.

It's nice to be "BACK".

Thanks to all who wished me and my family well.

I'll have to post an update on that thread.

Saw your car at HIN as well.

I'm still busy with the aftermath, but things are getting better.

Hopefully well see each other soon.

As far as the tails, I posted a thread on this topic long ago. Like you know I've been modding the GS for 7 years now !

Do a search for my screen name and keyword "tail" or clear tail" it should come up.
