Default Anyone running their car at the Duel at DeAnza 2008?

Just curious if there will be any Club Lexus cars/members running the track there?

Smokey, Its free to watch but I do not know how much it is to participate. There is contact information in the link I provided above. I have several friends who run their cars every year. Its a lot of fun to go watch. All kinds of cars of all makes and types.

Some details are found in the link above. I think (Not sure - no guarantee) the only requirements were no SUV's, no passengers, and drivers must wear a helmet. Its in one of the De Anza parking lots. bring your own chairs. They sale some food and drinks there. Also event t-shirts.

I was there on Sunday @ 830a with my headache from late night party.

Wow.. quite a load of cars were there. A lot of jap oldies out performed the new and semi-new cars. No sign of any Lex ride.

I left at noon during the break.. It was like low 90's in sun in the parking lot.

Anyway, it was fun~~~

Joseph, I did not see you there or I would have said hi. I took off at noon too. I did see one IS300 out there but it looked pretty stock. And yeah the old Toyotas and other brand cars here doing quite well.

Later.

No show car with me that day. I was there with my 400h. Yeah, my hybrid is a sure thing to track!

Damn it, I guess I missed the IS run.
It was so hot that I went 3x to the food booth for water. Me and buds actually setup a 10x10 cannopy by the most right side corner near the food booth.. and the dumbest thing was none of us brought seats and drinks, but only a full load of ice in the chest.
