It depends on the cops. I have friends who were sent to the ref for having red wirings, chrome engine covers and my bro's girlfriend had to get her corolla ref'd for having a chrome muffler tip and the tip was stock size!!

DZLEXIK and altezzagta,

The S2000 is definitely a fun car to drive! I still regret trading my s2k to this day. The transmission feels really solid and and the throws are short. If you guys ever decide to get one, you'll be happy with the car. Only thing that ever bothered me was water leaking in the cabin on hard rainy days and the noise level in the cabin(with top up) on long drives.

Anyway, back to the subject. I was gonna request for this Sunday off so that I can come to the meet, but unfortunately, my engine bay caught on fire today and roasted the wiring harness along the firewall.

So hope you guys have fun and hopefully I can gather the parts I need to bring my SC back to life again. If not, I might be looking into an S2K again, 2nd gen GS300/400, or MR2 turbo.

Josh, sorry to hear about the engine fire man. do you still have the '85 MR2? you're still welcome to the meet if you don't mind driving that car... some others are bringing DDs instead as well. Rich

Yep! The MR2 is my daily driver but I'll think I'll just go to work instead. Will be needing the money to fix my SC again.

.....Too bad i got my car detailed a couple days ago....and wasted my money....KUZ ITS RAINING RIGHT NOW!!! When i got home from work today my car was just covered in oil from the road, looked like somebody poured pepsi on it.

Anyways..the forecast says its supposed to rain tomorrow too..is this meet still happening?

This is lame...after the rain tomorrow its supposed to be sunny for the rest of the week.
