And oil just dropped 4.45 a barrel yesterday. Takes too long for us to feel the (slight) relief

hehe.. i dont think i would ditch the sc4 just cuz gas prices! With my current driving, i'm spending about $4,000 in gas a year. If I bought a gas sipper, it'd prob save 1-2k per year but be spending more on ins and maint. I'm good with my sc.

Ya I cant hear my intake woosh anymore
no wot for me. What a waste of an intake and exhaust combo. I drive like there is an egg between my foot and pedal LOL.... I feel ya Ryan...I feel Ya...we get ripped all the time in the bayarea... I use this link all the time http://www.sanjosegasprices.com/

You could also add 1oz Techron Concentrate per 10g Costco gasoline and achieve roughly the same results.
Doing the math it will cost about $0.05 per gallon getting your Techron dosage, assuming you pay $10 for 20oz of concentrate.
Based on some other tech info that I read directly from Chevron, I summize that the concentrate (used every 3000 miles) on non-Techron gas, will have virtually the same cleansing effect as using Chevron gas on every fill up. The reason being the dosage of the concentrate is 10 times greater than what comes in the same additive of Chevron's gas. (Note: this evaluation is based on facts provided by Chevron)
At the end of the day, if you WANTED to have Techron additive, then the cost of the Costco gas (+ Concentrate), will need to be sold for 5 cents per gallon less than the Chevron gas just to break even in the total cost per gallon..
Not sure how much more Chevron costs vs. Costco, but I'm sure someone will find that out and report it.
If there is a savings, this might be worth doing for some people.
