Back to Lexus after short departure. Hi Guys!
I've been on CL for a while but I moved out here about a year ago so thought I'd re-introduce myself to the north cali guys. I moved here from Chicago.
I just bought another 06 IS350 - SGM with Nav/ML/Luxe/Full OEM ground effects kit.
Here is a rundown of my vehicle history.
Had an 02 Sebring Silver S2000, then bought an LS400 as a daily beater.
Sold both and bought an 06 IS350 - It was Glacier with Nav/ML/Luxe/Parking Sensors(wish my car had these now, there seem to be very few out there with this feature)
Then sold that and bought another S2000. An 06 Laguna Blue.
I just sold the S2k, and now I'm back in with the SGM IS350.
I don't plan on doing many mods, but I'm really digging the simple look of the car with the factory lip kit. It has the standard oem 18's as well. And the lip spoiler on the trunk. Windows are tinted at 20%. Probably get some aerotech red outs though.
Good to be back.

I'm not 100% they are 20%, it came on the car. My last IS had 20% and I can't tell if this is 20 or 35. I think its 20 though.
My S2k had 20% and I've been out here a year and no issues with CHP (knock on wood). But I may remove the fronts and do 35% later on.
Thanks for the heads up

Any clue what the best way to get this stupid warning label off on my drivers door window? I'd normally use a razor blade, but because of the tint it'll scratch.
Might just have to peel it off and use some sort of goo gone.

I think I was ready for some torque and luxury. The first time around I wasn't ready to give up the handling on rails bit. I think I got that out of my system now.

Regarding tint, I took a closer look and it looks like the fronts are definitely lighter than the rears. So it looks like the rear window is 20%, the rear passenger windows are 20 and the front driver and passenger are 35. Hopefully this will reduce any chances for a ticket.... I really love the look of this car with tints too.
