I think I'll be purchasing a kit in a near future
and I was just wondering if there is any good paint/body shop
near Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda area..
I won't mind driving at least 25~40 miles if the
quality and the price is good!!

I have a body kit I need installed/painted as well (TOMs) and stopped by Creative Kustoms since they've done great work on my car before. Sadly they're no longer there. Looks like they closed up shop and their phone number is disconnected

Any other recommendations? I could use one as well. I did a search and dug up a lot of recommendations, but some are just 1 liners or provide no details on what work was done. I've listed all the places I found below... can anyone vouch for any of them?

H&H auto collision and Neo autobody does great work on paint in Oakland.

The price is not cheap but fair since the results the worth it.

 

If you go toward SF, you can try getting a quote from DB autobody.

 

Kims Autobody is good priced, did a repaint and fixed rear bumper on my ES350. nice job, good quality very good price.

EMC collisions i've used on the IS350 - craftsman ship is good, but a lil problem with the pearl paint. but they did work for my friends Cayman, and his Gallardo and both came out great. They are known for doing work on exotics (ferraris, lambos, astons, bmw, mercedes,) and not so much for Lexus. Aries had her RSP SC painted and fixed there, maybe she can chime in on the RSP color match since its pretty hard.
EMC is known for collision but they have a custom fabrication division known as MUM Sports.

Anderson Behel Body Shop in Santa Clara 4089884011 did work on our rear ended C240 and did a awesome job and fair priced.
they do a lot of insurance work as well and had been a recommended choice for porsches and mercedes.

Akins Collision Center in South Bay with multiple locations does a good job on fabs and custom fitting. do a search, they have a few locations in the bay area.

no..never got the Kits..but now I need a shop who can install and probably mod a little of my rear to fit the exhaust..
