Default Lowering Lexus Gs350 in Sacramento?

Hi, just ordered a set of NF210 springs for my GS. Was wondering if anybody know of a reputable shop to bring my GS to.. How did they treat your Lexus? Also how much did it cost you along with an alignment?

checked midnight performance in rancho cordova and they wanted $400 for install and $120 for alignment? isn't that like dealership prices?

Thanks

If your willing to drive here into the city I know a place that can install your springs for probably $100. I got my coilovers and edfc installed for $180.

Autosport Addiction in Stockton installed my tanabes for 200. I went to Firesteone for an alignment which was 70 bucks.

smoky, little too far for spring installation, thanks for the recommendation. I'll check out autosport addition. 3.3L, do you know how long they take for the installation?

Thanks

I would do it myself if I got a lift and all the tools. Letting other ppl rip out the interior and panels of my Lexus is something i don't want to see.. Even if I am to just put it on jackstands and buying spring compressors, I would've already paid some money for the parts. Might as well pay a little more for the installation.

Hey, sorry for the late response...

I think it took them about 4 hours (give or take) to complete. You can walk across the street and test drive some nissans to kill some time while you wait, haha.

Honestly...I don't think there are any good shops left in Sac since Motorsport Dynamics closed shop. We can probably help you out when we get back from WA, but we're located in Martinez.

I had a bad experience on ordering a part for RSX-s V2 intake AEM air filter @ SMA, but nothing on installation.

The manager just pick a box in the back room that was in front of his face and say "this look like the size of it", and gave it to me. I check the part number and its the wrong one!! I had to personally guide the desk boy to purchased the correct one.

SMA is horrible, i hate their service. Went there 1 time and never will go back again... i never dealt with installation through them but when i tried to have something ordered through them, they would just try to convince me to buy the more expensive item. Tried to order Tokico shocks, was told that they were garbage (even though they had the pamphlets sitting right there.) told them i was only trying to spend around 400 at MAX. The guy tried to convince me to buy some coilovers that he had in the back ready to go for like $900... I wouldn't recommend it!! As GSracerRY said, i dont think there are any good shops in the Sac area. I would think that the Bay Area would be your best choice.
