You can't reuse invite codes, one use only. If you didn't get the code, you can sign up for the waitlist.

The invite code I will have is good for 50 uses. Like the Taste of Lexus - Lexus Performance Driving Academy, I sent out special invite codes to our members and other forums. This time around, it is very limited space, so I will be sending the code out accordingly.

I've never been pressured at ANY of these automaker drive events. For ANYTHING. If anything these drive and lifestyle events are meant to instill further loyalty to the brand you already drive, or showing you what you are missing by NOT being a Lexus owner. Most if not all of these events never have sales people at the event. What you will find are technical people ready to answer your technical questions if you have them though.

I have a spare invite code if anyone is interested. It has someone elses name on it, but when you go to register online, you can change the name and address (i checked). Shoot me a PM if you'd like it.. says aug 29-31, so i assume you register for the day you wish to attend, if its available.

I dont see why not... i entered the code on the site, and it comes up with the info, and you can change the name and address to your own.

I just registered for this event. Seems like its at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Last year I went to the El Toro location in Irvine.

Anyone know if this years event is going to be like last years??

I remember reading here a few months back that there were going to a separate performance event, hybrid event, etc. Seems not the case anymore??

For the one in San Mateo, it looks like there are only two drives. One more performance oriented and the other seems to be more like an extended test drive on the street(not sure if its on street or not though).

It will be different from the previous taste of Lexus. These events will focus more on the car and their features. The IS-F will not be present at this event, as the Taste of Lexus - Lexus Performance Driving Academy was for that purpose.

Why would lexus send me an invite if they wanted me to buy a car, i mean the car i purchased is only 8 months old.. do they think that i want to buy another one? I agree that this even it to install loyalty in the brand, but then again, we shall see when i am at the event.
