Speeding ticket
I got a speeding ticket coming back from LA a month ago and I live in Norcal, they want me to go to fresno for court..how does it work? Last ticket I delt with just made me go to court to pay a fine, how would Fresno deal with it...same?

did you get caught in fresno area? If not I dunno why they asked you to go to fresno court.. But I don't think you have to go to the court..just pay the fine by mail and that's it..

hmm why are they not allowing you to pay the fine? were you speeding like 130mph? I think it's such a hassle to drive to fresno just to appear at the court..heh.. last time I just mailed my fine and my traffic school certificate and case closed.

CHP? fight it ! ususally CHP officers tend to not show. good luck. iunno about going to fresno. what a waste of gas, might want to ask ur local cop station or find one of the members thats an officer, theres one in the GS section

well mine show up last week
speaking about speeding ticket just got one like 3 hrs ago. i was on my way home from in and out where 680 turn to 280. as i was exiting a black car pass by then made a right when it was red. ( i was like what the hurry)(there was a sign saying no red turn)( i was still at the light) then about 7 sec later i see a CHP behind me and pull me over. he pull out his laser gun showing me that i was going 85 mph. i was like what ? i was for sure not i was mot speeding. i was on the bluetooth talking to my dad. taking my time going home
i dont even know how to fight this ticket. can anyone help????

If he laser-ed you and showed you a rec means he recorded it. Means the only way you can get off this is if he doesnt show up. You can play the equipment malfunction game, but most people wont be able to pull this off. you will have to hire a traffic attorney to pull the equipment maintenance / malfunction game. Even at that, the chances of you winning are slim unless you got real lucky. I am surpirsed he didnt pull you over for no right turn on red... but for speeding...
