Default Help installing led turn signal mirror covers in NorCal

Any recommendations for a shop or person who has installed these mirror covers on a 2is in the NorCal area??

Should receive them in a couple of weeks and the DIY looks a little challenging.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks.

I would like to know as well even though i'm going to install them myself. Just in case something does happen, i will have a backup plan.

it shouldn't be that hard..just follow the DYI
the challenging part is to run the wire from passenger side to driver side

I found a place in Daly City that may be able to install these mirror covers. Anyone familiar with a place called Lightwurkz?? I may give them a try next week.

Let me know...

Thanks

How much did they quote you for the install?

You could save that $$$ by following a DIY I recently posted in the 2IS forum.

Will get an estimate tomorrow or next Thursday... I still may follow the DIY, but right now I feel like I want a very qualified person to install these. I'm not as concerned about the money for this install as I am about messing up anything. Looking for the perfect install. And believe me.... I've read that DIY about 10 times so far.

But I will say that when you do the work yourself you tend to be extra careful and pay more attention to detail. And you always get that nice feeling when you successfully complete a DIY project. We'll see....

If money is not a concern just pay someone and save yourself the trouble although it is very satisfying to DIY successfully.

I'm still looking for that 'someone' to install these... If anyone on the NorCal board has any recommendations let me know... If I go with Lightwurkz, I'll post the price and the quality of work. I should receive the mirror covers next week and installed within a week or two if possible.

Had Lightwurkz install these mirror covers today... This was their first ISx50 so they should have the process perfected now. Check their website for contact info. They should charge around $125. Located in Daly City.

They also installed some LED's in the puddle lamps and a few other places while I was there.

Hope this helps anyone looking for help installing these...

Nice. Another CL member got theirs installed by a shop for $100 so that seems to be the price range people can expect to pay, or save, for this type of installation.

How much do you charge to help us a few of the members out? I can do everything except the wiring. The wire tap/grounding seems like a PITA...
