Wow its $15 now? I remember when all correctable infractions were only $10. But yeah it is sign off then pay the fine.

Just find yourself a friend who knows an officer and pay the $15. There is always a way around it.

Whether its technically illegal in california or not, cops can pull you over and ticket you. It does have a lot to do with where you are driving though. I wouldnt guess it would be too much of a risk in san jose but i wouldnt know about milpitas.

I bought the car with already tinted windows. I'm not sure what the % is but I would guess around 50% all around. It's pretty light.... I drive by the Milpitas Police Station all the time and also by the station in downtown San Jose (around the courthouse). Even next to cops.... I've been lucky for the past 2.5 years I guess....

for the state of ca you cannot have any tints on the front windows. if you get pulled over and ticketed or not, it all has to do with luck,

I've had 35% tint on my 2 front windows for over 9 years on various cars while living in Sunnyvale and San Jose, no fix-it tickets. Lack of front plate gets more negative police attention.

i guess a good way to help with the tint ticket is to pull down ur front windows when u see a cop

NorCal always has good weather for pulling down the windows!

Is a vehicle more likely to get pulled over for Garson Curtains as opposed to having a light shade of tint?
