If you want some high class sushi go to Michi Sushi in Campbell. They have the most amazing rolls there... kinda pricy but you won't be disappointed. Me n my friends were feeling for some sushi one night and did a yelp search and this place popped up... once we got there we were about to leave because they were so expensive ($20+) but we said hey we're here so might as well. I tried the Jeff Garcia which was really good and my other friends tried the climax roll and something else... but all were very filling since they are not stingy with the fillings... http://www.michisushi.com/

I find myself going to Kazoo in Japantown in SJ. Although I just moved to Sunnyvale a few months ago and have discovered another good spot called Seto which isn't bad, its even better after a few sake bombs. 
I also like Sushiko in Los Altos/Mountain View area. I've been to a few others but I think those are the ones that stand out. I know that Rolo took me to one in Alameda which was pretty good but I don't remember the name now.

try Sakae in Burlingame... was mentioned in the last San Francisco Magazine as top 3 in in the bay area.
Really good high quality and special fish there....
