Maybe people should go back and re- edit their original post if they can verify when the pot hole is "fixed" ???????
I took this off of the sticky to give it some visibility.
I usually do that with stickies since people tend to stop reading them.
Whenever the thread drops down, that's usually when I sticky it back to the top.

I know its summer but why start a new thread:
Nasty pot hole near the right edge of the 87 North to 280 South ramp. It just inside the lane so if you stay to the left you will be fine. I have hit this thing twice and it hurts.

Rough level changes:
280 South crossing over 101 and King Rd: The transition from asphalt to concrete and back again is very harsh in the fast lane. All other lanes are smooth.
Great Mall Parkway westbound crossing over Barber Ln (right after you cross 880): The right side of the right lane has a serious level change from concrete to asphalt as you come off the overpass. Looks like it may be 3-4 inches, hits your wheel like 10.
Your the man. Thanks.

This info isn't pot holes, but uneven roads.
The 238 fwy transition from the 880 south to 580 east (San Leandro, and Casto Valley) in Northern CA has uneven sections where they are repairing and making the 238 wider. Any CL members who have low profile tires will have hard impacts on their rims due to the uneven roads. I would avoid the 238 fwy transition.

North San Jose & Milpitas
On both directions of Montagu Expressway, between HWY-680 and GreatMall Pkwy.
The area (both direction) is under construction, with multiple shave-off sections (3+ inches sink/rise) everywhere. It's fast traffice stream most of time and no one can't dodge these 3+ inch steps.
It has been like this for a week already, and even my daily/stock car strikes hard.
Watch out!!
-------
Sept-02-09
The roads are all fixed, but now the area has a lot of rocky bits.
No more low scraping problem but now the worst is the rockchipping damage to the front hood and bumper.
I wonder if there is any department QA over these constructions.
There was no caution sign during its construction, and now no clean up after it is done.
Any USDM stardard is not acceptable to me!

YOU CANNOT AVOID this deep shave off across all lanes if you need to travel over 101 on Montague .

Update...(as of 9/2/09)
This is smoothed out and complete. No more rough edges on Montague Expressway between 101 and 880. All lanes have been paved new.

As of 9/2/09:
Corner of Story Road & McLaughlin (in both directions westbound and eastbound)
Corner of Story Road & King Road
Caution: Carved asphault surface w/ heavy debris and dust in all lanes due to re-paving project.
It's dusty and there's all kinds of small debris.
hopefully, they'll get this smooted out soon.
drive slow w/ caution if you have a lowered vehicle and no clear bra.
