Lexus of Concord Dealer Experience
#31
This goes for any dealership. Probably every dealership has at least 2-3 sales people that will ignore you when you arrive depending on how you look. If you hit up a Mercedes/BMW/Porsche dealership and you look young or dressed down, they'll just think you're a tire kicker. They're paid on commissions so they don't want to waste time on a potential tire kicker and lose out on a more realistic buyer if they're stuck talking to someone that has no real money to buy a car.
It's just the nature of things. I'm not justifying it, I would love to be able to wear shorts and a t-shirt to a dealership if I wanted to buy a car, but I definitely wouldn't expect sales people to rush over to help me if I walked in dressed like that. They also eyeball the car you drive with into their lots.

i go to the concord dealership frequently, usually just for parts. Their service seems acceptable to me, not great, but also not bad either. I had my timing belt and water pump done there recently. The parts guy refuses to give out part numbers for my future reference like its some highly secretive info, wtf?

1) I learnt that Tony at Lexus of Concord lost his job. Apparently there had been many complaints about him.
2) Went to Lexus of Fremont for the first time and they were head and shoulders above Lexus of Pleasanton & Lexus of Concord. Three years after buying my first Lexus and at last I get some decent service.

i'll chime in as well...
since i live/work in fremont, i've been going to magnussen lexus for all my parts and service...nothing but good things to say
my buddy also took his dad's car in for a service...he wanted me to pick him up while they did the service but instead, they offered him a loaner. i don't remember what the service was but it wasn't a big one needless to say he was happy...
