Hmm..
Pros:
- exchange infomation for job oppertunity and insider news for stock trades.
- Wifi and TV = prepare work ahead
- more time to sleep while riding

Cons:
- I see most of people enjoy driving regardless the fuel price, and most do not like sharing.
- 2 hrs ride from SF to South Bay??!!? I rather get 1hr more sleep and 1hr drving by myself.
- It saves nothing. $8 for one way, or $16 for round trip a day??!?! $16 x 21 days = $336/mo. That is a Camry's payment with $0 down.
- Luxury bus?? The wifi internet and personal leather seats are minimum standard in many Asia countries already, and I know some equip personal LCD/TV and free meals and charge much less than $8 for 2 hrs ride.
- You can't dodge short distance walk when you get off at your stop.

Public transportation does not work in America because our trend to ride solo and not to share ride.

Good luck, and I want to see how long this will run.

Joseph

It's a very interesting concept, I know people that would take such a thing. I noticed that there is an ordenance that says your company is supposed to pay for it so that takes care of the cost bit.

I think most of us on here would still drive (it is an enthusiast forum afterall) but I can see it's market potential.
