If you get a ticket from a CHP, your fine goes to the state. If you are fine by a local enforcament i.e., "city police" or "county sheriff", small portion of the $ returns to that agency.

I think the County the ticket is issued in gets a cut of the CHP fine but I could be wrong.

LOL...thanks for the heads-up. Laying low...for now. Just remember, any time prior/post holidays, there will be major setups. They are going full force on drinking and driving this year.
