Default joe z pts exhaust

hey guys anyone get this exhaust on thier car? if so i would love to meet up so i can take a look at it and hear how it sounds cause im in the market for one.

Also i called around and the dealers around here say the o2 sensor socket needed for the install for the exhaust, is a speacial service tool part so they cant order me one, therefore i cannot buy one. And that i need to find an equivialnt to the oem o2 sensor socket? wth?

I've heard this exhaust in person @eos. It was installed on the Man's car itself JoeZ.
Sound super good. I had the LMS and it is way louder than the PTS with his full dual setup. Get it if you can. Best sounding full catback system I've heard!!! BTW here is the tool you need. Easy bought at Sears Tool Department!!!!!

I'm interested in the exhaust too, but I'm worried about the emission/smog, do you guys know how often DMV will have you go to the smog station, is it still every two years or has it changed for new cars?

Losing the secondary cats will probably not pass visual, but will it pass without the secondary cats?

for new cars i think it's 7 yrs. it was 5 years for a long time i believe

i have done a few smogs before, visual i only see them looking for intake, never saw them looking for cats. but i don't know if removing the cats will affect emission of course

where are you in NorCal... we can meet and you can check it out...
I rented the tools for free from AutoZone with 30 deposit...and they give you back when you are returning
The socket is the short one... below image

VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE OEM EXHAUST FULLY COOLED DOWN BEFORE STARTING THE REMOVAL OF THE O2 SENSORS
-THIS WILL HELP PREVENT STRIPING OF THE SENSOR THREADS

There are a few different brands out there with a similar design that will work the same exact way.

This is not your typical DIY install.. but if your handy with WD-40,a couple of wrenches and 4 jack stands, then you should be good....

If NOT, I STRONGLY recommend an experienced Technician at a 3rd party shop to do the install..

Having the car on a lift, high in the air, makes a world of a difference..

I have it on a 350, but it looks like you're hoping for an IS-F.

I borrowed this tool from Autozone just now.

It's free to use as long as I return it within 90 days.
