I was wondering if you have problems with your tint job? i got my tint done and after i noticed that the rear windows, the small section on each door the part where the window doesnt go down. If you have like a small gap on top of the window without tint?

the guy i went to says that the window there is soo tight that he couldnt fill that part with tint, that there was no possible way for him to get tint there.

so my question is do you guys have any part of your windows without tint?

I don't have that problem but it probably depends on how good the guy is and how hard he's willing to work to get it done well... i know there are some spots on cars where it's really hard to get to and it might not be perfect. I had mine done by Premier and they did a perfectly fine job, I referred my bro to go there for his SLK and they told us similar thing as you, there was a small triangle piece of the rear window that was very hard to get to and the guy warned us that because he couldn't reach it there might be a top edge that you wouldn't see tint if you looked at it closely. But it was just a piece that comes down while the top is being retracted and you'd only see the top edge during the folding so it wasn't a big deal. So yeah seems like it's plausible, but maybe you should take it to a different tint shop and get a 2nd opinion, if one of them says they can do it then you should go back and make them do it right.

Got all my windows tinted at KarTunz in Pleasanton. No problems, and with a lifetime warranty for $280. Did you get a warranty?

Yes I have a warrenty and I paid exactly what you did 280 did you tint all 7 windows? Can you give me the addres so I can maybe try them from now on I am not planning to go back to the shop I have been using for the past 10 years this is the first time I had problems

Wow 10 years, that's to bad. Yeah I did tint all 7 windows. Kar Tunz in Pleasanton, 3657 Old Santa Rita Road Suite C. Phone # 925-460-8869. Its near Lexus of Pleasanton like two blocks away. Also one other thing, last I knew they only had 5% 20% 35% and 55% tints.
