Not trying to offend anyone but I myself know people at Best Buy and the employees themselves have told me to stay away. Same with the now closed Circuit City. I'm sure there are quality installers there and my statement was a generalization. You would think that a shop that does this stuff EXCLUSIVELY would do better work than a nationwide chain. I'm the type of person that does NOT believe that you do good work until I see it myself. Like I said, not trying to offend anyone, just personal experience. It's unnerving when the guy trying to sell you the stuff knows nothing about it. Thanks for the offer and I understand the sentiment.

and coming from an installer standpoint, i always hate hearing how peoples car got messed up by other incompitent installers. this just goes to show that its not about this or that shop big box or small store is better or worse. its about the actual people working there. i worked at one of now closed circuit city and ran one of the best circuit city shops in the bay area. we treated all our customers car with respect. alot of us were doing it because were were passionate in mobile electronics, not because of a paycheck.

dang that sucks........you shoulda told me you were installing a double din- my shop here Audiomobile has done TONS of doubledin installs including mine and ADS Phils.......

Thanks Mike but unfortunately it wasn't me who made the appointment with them. I found out the hard way last Friday that their lack of professionalism is appalling. I'll update later.
