Well you're right on one thing - It would be up to the Mayor to realize this and to make such a bold move to curb his Police Chief, but that ain't gonna happen is it?

Take Mardi Gras in New Orleans as an example. The police tolerate all the boob flashing, because if they ticketed everyone who did that, the event wouldn't be as popular, resulting in a considerable loss in revenue.

Guys,

I spent the $60 bucks for my girlfriend and I. I only saw one IS-F's and a one IS 350 in the whole dang show. Not a lot of cars but I saw a hole lot of booty.

I got the stinky eye from my girl friend for all the picts I took of the models. Lot's of cops but I was street legal so I didn't get harassed one bit.

Don't think I would go again to see just the cars

did the org work with the COPs for security around the venue?... They should encourage people to come to SM and spend $$$ to help the local business....NOT TICKETING left and right...

that's why i'd never go there. i just find it kind of silly when i have to pay to show my car, and at the same time i have to pay if i want to SEE cars.

I stopped going to those shows LONG ago. Not worth all that money to get in especially when you know someone will always post pics somewhere if there was anything worth seeing.
