i have license plate bolt marks on my front bumper that need to be touched up, wet sanded and blended. perhaps also the same thing to the actual license plate holes, but not filled in. how much would that cost roughly? i don't know anything about body work, but can't imagine it being too much since the areas are so small and that a repaint is around 300.00 as i've been told? or is it? i'm in san jose

 

bumper plugs might help ....

 

i have some plugs, but was just curious. my main concern are the bolt marks that don't go all the way through, this is what they look like:

 

We see it all the time... Rather unfortunate that the dealers do this to the bumper, when it would seem that they could simply use shorter bolts.

If you can refinish them that's probably gonna give you the nicest finish, but we have had customers that were so bad, they just bored them out and went with two sets of plugs. Better than nothing.

 

I have the same exact damage. Rather then repaint a brand new oem bumper i just touched up the area with the touch up paint from the dealer. better then nothing...
