I dont know what the deal is with south bay cops, they seem more willing to pull you over and be *****es about it.
I was running my MKIV with a full 3.5" turboback exhaust up in sf and the cops dont even take a second look when I was mashing it down 19th ave, but the second I pull out of my apartment while I was going to SJSU, I get pulled over and ticketed for my BOV of all things.
I guess the department is broke and getting desperate. One of my good friends is a sjpd sargent and yes, they do keep closer tabs on imports and euros (obviously).

Infineon is pretty strict. I was given the boot for running an SC400 with cutouts and straight pipes. Events held there always end on or before 7pm because of the low noise ordinance. This makes it a death trap for enthusiasts. Thats why I stick to Sacramento Raceway for drag days. They dont care what you do.
