Just got a fix ticket for tint windows - HELP!!
Hi, I just got a fix ticket for 20% tint windows in Excelsior district in San Francisco, CA. I don't want to tear down the tint. =( I'd like to ask a favor from anyone who lives around San Francisco and doesn't have tint windows on a starfire pearl IS250 yet, so I can borrow their car and swap the license plate and have a cop sign off the fix ticket. Please Help. Of course Lunch will be included. =) Please Help..Thanks...

You're asking for someone to break more laws to help you out of a ticket you got because you broke the law, and to put it in writing that they're willing to get into trouble to help you keep illegal tint.
Ethics fail.

When you modify your car to illegal standards, you have to be able to accept the concequences and take the punishment. I would never allow someone to "use" my car in an illegal way to try to sign off a ticket. I have tinted windows myself, but if i were to recieve a ticket, which i have been lucky enough not to *knocks on wood*, i wouldnt complain about it, id take it off and get it signed off. Please do not come on this forum community and ask us to help you commit illegal acts, especially a fraud like that.

was the tint in the Rear sides or the front passanger / driver side?
back is 100% legal front is illegal. in which case ticket doesnt cost much man up and its not on record, if you can find a buddie cop to sign your good but otherwise just remove the tint pay it re tint it.
PS: only applies to front driver and passanger side, the rear windows are 100% legal regardless of the tint % of course if you choose a mirror relfective or specialty tint that changes....
