Default Sacramento Area Wheel Repair?

I curbed one of my wheels really bad last night- like, 3/4 of the wheel. Can anyone recommend a good wheel repair shop in the Sacramento area?

Even the Senior CL SAC guys I know bring their wheels to Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. Repairing seriously damaged rims is a pretty specialized business and qualified shops are few and far between.

Do a search for Wheel Techniques for posts that go back 5+ years.

There's plenty of info if you do a little homework.

Note that we usually hand out 20% discount coupons for Wheel Tech at the EOS and BOS meets that are held every year.

What do you know that I don't know Mike? Sean has some hook up I suspect.

Can they repair Diamond Black color? I have some minor curb rash. But from what I remember, it cost $75 to fix 1 inch of curb rash and cost $75 to fix the whole wheel of curb rash. Is that correct?

There's also a Wheel Techniques location in Sacramento; is that one any good? Seems relatively new, not many reviews for that store.

I TOTALLY forgot they have a second shop !

They are one in the same. No need to drive to Santa Clara !

Hope you're not reviewing Yelp. Wish someone would do a review on Yelp itself to expose the BS that goes on there.

They can do almost any wheel. The repair cost doesn't change whether the rash is short or long, since the repair time is same. $75 sounds on the low side. Gotta just go there for a real quote. Phone quotes are always ballpark.
