the largest mini meet was two weeks ago at HOOTERs coordinated by Brent,,and yes it was free unless people wanted to get some hot wings
but, you should know better since you coordinated BOS why certain events have admission fee, and that coordinators gotta spend time and money OUT OF THEIR POCKET in order to make these events happen

I love how people own Lexus and complain about $10 admission fees to a museum closed off for a private party.

It's not about the location. Hell, it's not even about the cars. It's about ClubLexus members hanging out!!!

Is there?!....I remember back in the days you required some cans of food for admission.....That is why I always carry a can of "pork and beans" in my trunk just in case

Yes, getting to the top of the parking structure was a PITA with all the speed bumps on each floor. Didn't we ALL to have to stop also to wait for SOLO because he needed gas?

Let me do some math:

Fuel for L.A. to S.F. roundtrip = approx $300 (maybe less if I convoy with buddies).
Hotel for two nights = approx $250 (maybe less if I share the room).
Eating out for three-four days straight = approx $250.
Paid time lost from taking two days off work = approx $1000.
EOS admission = $10.

Am I really concerned about $10 to get into EOS? Not really...

Yeah with all those speed bumps that's why I take a different car when I go to the Century Theater there.

Dicken, I agree w/ you on "meeting w/ your NorCal buddies - priceless". Did you put on your new rims yet?

LexAnt, I remember you from some of the older meets. And though the older meets may not have charged (I think because of some deep pocket sponsors back then like Stevens Creek Lexus and corporate Lexus), the LGW Crew (Chris, Ron, Chris, Will, Johnson, Jonny to name a few, plus Glen to a lesser degree now) spends tons of time organizing a meet.

jns350, no wonder you can afford all your mods and the wifey's Cayenne S, you're a good moocher. Just kidding, don't mean to offend you (heck I probably have done some things you did at Hooters, but I stop the line at drinking someone's forgotten beer).

Thats too much to spend, trip wouldnt cost that much if planned right, either way, if you make $500 a day, I doubt a trip like that would really hurt, not to mention asking for vacation days where you'll get payed anyways... (this is a weekend btw, if you're payed that much, doubt its a weekend job) if you dont want to see us, just say so sheesh J/K

Check this out : http://www.convertunits.com/drive/fr...os+Angeles,+CA

The approx. cost one way is $55ish when consuming 23 MPG using 91 octane @ $3.30/gal
