hey fellow nor cal members,

Is there any writeup on how to replace the front lower control arms? Is this an task I can do myself? I got quoted 400 to replace, is that a reasonable price? the guy claimed that it gonna take at least whole day to do. Any one know of any shops that can replace lower control arms for a reasonable price in the SF area? thanks.

Its easy if you have the tools. You'll need a puller to push the ball joint out of the knuckle and the rest are pretty easy from there. You might need to mark some spots to keep the same camber when you put the bolts back.

oops forgot to list haha. my fault. its a 94 gs300.

the last time I changed my lower control arm bushings it was hella hard I had to saw off the bolts just to get them off. the bolts were so rusted.
