Restaurant Recommendation
Hey guys, I need a little help. Ever since Gojirra99 posted about his Alaskan King Crab dining, my mouth has been watering and I'm desperately craving this creature.

Do you fellas have any upscale restaurant recommendations? Doesn't matter where in the Bay Area, I'm willing to drive!
Thanks,
Tommy

Chinese/Dim Sum: Koi Palace in Daly City & Zen Peninsula in Millbrae
Pho: Turtle Tower in SF. highly recommend their chicken noodle. Not upscale though.

If you really want some GOOD GOOD seafood, and don't mind the drive (I think it's worth it ...) Try Phil's Fish Market in Moss Landing in Monterey. I usually get the Ciopinno and a size of fish and chips.

I've heard great great things about Gary Danko. I think they are at the top of the ratings on Yelp. I've also heard very good reviews on House of Prime Rib and Harris' Steakhouse.
If you want the ultimate (not speaking from experience though), look up French Laundry in Yountville.
I went to PPQ Dungeness Crab Island 2 months ago. I personally thought it was good (not the best), because fits my budget but have heard mixed reviews.

I'm not a seafood person but I know a lot of people who like Scott's Seafood in San Jose and Crustacean in S.F.
Being a steak person, my personal favorite is Forbes Mill in Los Gatos.

Coming back to this...
It is not necessary to spend big bucks for tasty food in my opinion.
King Crab Restaurant
269 W Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA
Their lobster-&-noodle is on promotion for $9.95. I eat there at least once per week. Just order the specail promo dishes (listing on a board by the entrance.. if you read Chinese).
It is a crowdy and noisy place but the food is tasty. Sorry this is not the a "classy" place, but the head count during its dining hour won't lie. I guess I am easy to get satisfied, or maybe I am a cheap guy... huh... LOL!
Hey, why don't we start a restaurant list that focus on tasty-food-and-cheap!! Driving a Lexus does not mean we have to go with class!!
