title after financing question?

I paid off my car few months ago. Chase bank signed on the title and mailed it me. My question is was I supposed to go to DMV go get another title?

If the title is still in the banks name then you want to go down the the dmv and request a title change or tranfer and it should cost $15...
If the title has your name then your fine~

The title has my name and current address in the upper typed out,
chase bank signed at the bottom "release lien" area. (all paid satisfactory stamp)

So it sounds OK? I can sell the car because it is my title.

Yes you are good to go! The sale of the car should be very easy if you use AAA autoclub instead of the DMV. There is like a 15 minute wait at the most and the personal is very friendly!
