OUT OF TOWN VISITORS: What to do in SF?
What up guys?
I'm in SF with my family right now. This is my first time, actually exploring the city. And I would like to get to know the city better. We are visiting Pier 39, Fisherman Wharf, Union Square, Cal, Standford and maybe Alcatraz. We are staying in Japantown. Do you guys have suggestions? Places to go. Eat. Cool ice cream stores, museums? Anything works!!!!
Thanks in Advance,
Leon
btw- the hills and the traffic here is intense compared to LA.

Depends if you like scenery or museums.
If you like scenery, Pier 39, Twin Peaks, Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square, Crissy Field, Treasure Island, Bakers beach (nude beach), Victorian houses, Lombard Street.
If you like museums: Academy of Science, exploratorium, SF moma, De Young (right across from Academy of Science)
If you are planning to go Alcatraz, you might want to plan ahead and buy your ticket online since it is usually sold out when you get there.

I just went there myself 2 weeks ago.

I went to Pier 39, Fisherman Dwarf, Ghirardelli Square, Standford and Lombard Street. Kind of tired, and SF traffic is killing me.
I saw a red 1SC on 22s lifted at fisherman Dwarf. Took a pic and ill post it up, as soon as Blackberry wants to fix their server.

too bad you're with family...otherwise I would have recommended Broadway's haha.
ok eat at fisherman's wharf...don't miss out on crab sandwich...that thing is so good! If you're up for some challenge, then head on to Pho Garden
