Hi all,

My friend's modded JDM CR-X was STOLEN early this morning (012510) between 1am and 7am in San Francisco (Sunset District)!!

Please keep an eye and ear out if anyone knows anything. Here are the pictures of the vehicle:












Police report has just been filed.

The battery AND steering wheel were disconnected, and yet, the car was still stolen!!

Please keep on the look out for my friend!

I will pay attention on the road.

I guess by now the bling wheels were prolly removed... The "DOHC" sticker on rear hatch is prolly the only thing can be recognized.

Coming back to this... I have not see any matching one out there, but I got another story to share.

My friend's 89 CRX (in black color) was stolen on 01/29/2010, right from his driveway in Milpitas (Jacklin & Hillview). A few days later on 2/3, he got a call from Milpitas PD that they found his car in Stockton.

About the damage in my bud's car, all wheels are gone, the battery and a cheap head unit are gone, and the key/ignition were busted. My bud could not afford the repair and tow fee, so he bought a cheap battery and a brand new ignition assembly (o/e @ $240, my connection), 4x used tires and steelies ($160 hookup from "Heaven").

At this moment, my bud and a friend (a shop tech) are now still in Stockton trying to fix it up at minimum and I hope they can make it back today.

what was busted on the ignition? Shouldnt have had to buy anything for that. There are MANY ways to get it started e.i. just like the bastards who stole it did... could have saved there... and craigslist FTW on steelies.

They made it. Phew~

Yeah, the ignition assembly was busted and some brackets were missing. Good thing the o/e package come with it. My bud could not take the chance to bring recycle parts to somewhere 100 miles away, and I guess he will sell the CRX after repair at minimum.

He has to live with his garage king, a FD/tt from now on. Good for him but his FD will cost him more gas money..

I hope Leedoobert's frined find his ride back.

hey you might know my friends also? Thomas and Jesse? so did the cops find the where abouts on the crx? I told Thomas to look around fisherman wharf or sunset district. they always dump stolen cars in that area...and hopefully the car isn't in some one garage or chopped up for parts.
