wow! I was just thinking about this the other day and considering Monterey also for this year's annual cruise.
Chateau Julien in Carmel is about 15 mintues from PB 17-mile drive and has a huge parking lot. They have food, beverages and tables outside.
just a thought.
This is from our Sc430 meet a few years ago thru Spanish Bay, PB 17-mile drive and Carmel.
Just a word of advice....from experience driving around in Monterey/Carmel/PB areas.
- Make sure your annual cruise date doesn't overlap w/ any other major events in that area such as Pro-Golf tournaments, Car show events, celebrity benefits, auctions etc.
Driving around during these events can be a bit tight.
I'm sure the oganizers are aware of this but I'm here if you need any additional input or assistance.
The organizers are very good about ironing out all the detailed logistics so I think you're in good hands here.

Damn, the cruise is coming to me!!!
I had this day off too, but then my coworker asked for a trade. Might be able to join you folks for dinner!
Let me know if you guys need help down here, and I can try to set stuff up during the day before work.
