Default pls recommend a shop for my friend's X5

my buddy's first gen X5 (3.0) has busted alarm sensor so he took it into the dealership for inspection and see if they can fix the alarm

they found out many things wrong with the car and here is what they want done on it

1. front brakes $1094
2. brake fluid + coolant flush
3. alarm sensor replacement $400
4. CV boots cracked and leaking $1079
5. power steering hose leak $650
6. misc bulbs $20
7. drive belt cracking $300

all in all, the dealership wants about $4,500 for everything...

anyone got a reputable german shop that can take care of these for like 40% of the dealership's quoted prices?

preferably in Fremont

Thanks in advance!!

David...i'll ask my cousin about a specialty shop in Santa Clara that only works on Bimmers.
Also, give Exact Motorsports a try as well.

Now that you mention it, Exact does do Bimmers. I'm wondering if the 20% discount coupon from BOS applies to non-Lexus? Should say on the coupon. Either way their prices will be notably less than the dealership.
