^ Seriously, I never really understood the concept of car owners paying to show their car off at an event. They should be paying us! (Yeah, I can understand if you were a sponsored car and were paying for exposure, but with people who pay for their own mods, it kinda sucks to have to pay registration fees.)

You're right Brian. I can't even remember how many car shows i've entered inn my cars lifetime at $30-$40. They make $ off you and charge people to get in! Rental of a facility is the only fee and maybe security.

Paid professional models can cost several $k. Also for large scale events, there's insurance, security, porta potty, trophies, flyers and at the end of the day, these guys are there to make a profit.
