Hello everyone, just joined. Got an 07 IS350, waiting for Fremont Lexus to have it ready this Friday. I live and work in Alameda. The car is all stock but it's my very first Lexus so I am very excited. Driving a brand new IS250 loaner car right now so it's not too bad. Hope to be able to make it out to some meets in the future.

This forum is very nice, seems like a good community of people.

This IS a very nice place to be, here on Club Lexus, it's good that you came here. Come to one of the meets - I did my first one this past weekend and had a lot of fun.

At Magnussen, they are all nice there, and they seem sincere, not fake.

I had Shane, that guy knows his stuff and he really spent a lot of time with me. He pursuaded me to come down at around 830pm because they closed the store at 9. I left the dealership around 1am. From here on, I'm telling everyone I know about Shane and Magnussen.

Well, plus it helps that I'm in love with my car.

I just registered for EOS. So I definitely will make it out.

Micaiah- I can relate in being "in love" with the car. I came from driving a 04 Tacoma and 92 Protege...so the jump to the IS for me is quite exciting. Waiting for the car to be ready is killing me! Although the loaner car is awsome. New car for the week..can't complain.

if the meet this Sat you are mentioning is the CARnival meet, please note that it IS NOT a NorCal Certified activity. This does not mean if it’s not certified that you should not attend, but what it DOES mean is that it IS NOT an official NorCal member organized event. That could entail that no one from clublexus may even attend and in most cases an Event like that typically means you are on your own, i.e. don’t expect CL members to be out in full force to meet and greet new members. We differentiate Certified meets as an activity where an “Experienced” NorCal member is supporting the activity as far as logistics, head count and most of all promoting our NorCal Hospitality and “ensuring” you have a good CL experience. Again these non-certified events may turn out quite well and possibly have several members attend, but again the point is there is no guarantee, so I WOULD NOT recommend such a meet to a new member (yourself included) as a FIRST TIME meet .
