Didn't know you meant highway 17. Don't know where you're coming from, but if its pouring rain, 101 will be safer.

 

Thanks for the advise. Although my main purpose is to hang out and watch, It wont be too much fun sitting in the car the whole time because its pouring. Anyways, see you at your house on Sunday if it works out Esther.

 

A quick update on Sunday!!

If it is pouring, I will cancel the event and schedule for next time, don't want any accidents on 17. If you want to come out if it sprinkles please PM/text me by Saturday night. I will decide Saturday night based on weather, whether or not we will be going!!

Probably a good call if the weather is as bad as it is today.

If there's any consolation, I couldn't make it to this event since both cars are in the shop.

If this postpones to another date, I'll try to get both the IS and the GS out there on the autocross.

BTW is there an age limit if the driver is under 18? I'd like to get my daughter out there, but if parental consent is required, we're still good.

I think its for sure going to be this bad tmr, so let's reschedule for next month!! I was really looking forward to going with everyone as well! However, if there's this much rain it won't be worth it.

I kind of agree that autox/meet in the rain is not fun. Only the people competing the whole year will show up at the autox in the rain. Or the drifters taking advantage of the slick course.

Just FYI, the next NorCal UFO is not til June 19. The police took the weekends that NorCal UFO requested for April and May.

Glen, all your daughter needs is her permit/license, your signature and your $35. =)

 

Been busy at work, so somehow I missed this.

OK so looks like it will be a while before we can re-schedule, but atleast I should have both cars back up and running by then. I'll fork out the $35 if my daughter is willing to drive the IS and I'll run my GS.
