Default Where did you get your exhaust done in the bay area?
I'm looking to redo my exhaust soon on my LS400 and I was wondering where a lot of club lexus people tend to go.

If you mean who installs them, then I got mine done at Exact Motorsports in Milpitas, but Sonic Motorsports in Mountain View would also do them (two popular shops)

Thanks guys! Sorry if it wasn't clear earlier, I meant to say that I wanted to get a custom exhaust done. I need more ground clearance ( and a beefy v8 sound wouldn't be bad either). It also has a very restrictive system from the cat back and I wanted to get new mufflers + piping. Thanks for all the recommendations!

i got mine installed at speed element pretty good but they're mostly about evos so idk how they are for ls400s

I took my LS430 to Steve Keefer @ East Bay Muscle Cars in Brentwood. Go visit his shop and you will know the level of cars he works on. He set me up with custom 2.5" teg welded piping, true dual with X-pipe and into Magnaflow cans out rear. The exhaust truly allowed the Toyota V8 rumble to come alive.

BTW, RMMGS4 just had his custom exhaust built by Steve @ East Bay Muscle Cars a few weeks back.

..and we got a 3rd local member considering Steve's knowledge and skills very soon.

+1 for Golden Auto Muffler on Folsom and 5th (I believe). The guy has race Civics too.

Just got new mufflers everybody, Bought Licelsior's magnaflows. Throwing them on when they arrive! Thank you for all the suggestions!

Ahh Yes East Bay Muscle Cars does Impeccable work and the sound of my car is arguably and Honestly the best sounding V8 Lexus in the 10 years I've been on CL. You can ask those who have heard it for their unbiased opinions though.










Don't ask me how much, because if you have to ask, sincerely you can't afford it .
